One thousand pieces of art, each under 3" in size. That was the project Melissa Robinson set for herself. In this letter from her website, Robinson explains why she took up the challenge of Tiny Art.

Robinson is also an unabashed fan of Robert Kelly, whose work as an illustrator has brought him work with clients such as the NBA, Harper Collins, and Popular Science. In her review of Kelly's work, she highlights his animal portraits, which bring to mind "the versions of these animals that I saw in my mind's eye when I was a child."
